Many hiking trails have paint blazes that communicate information and direction. In this picture you can see two blue blazes on one of my favorite trails. The blue paint indicates the direction (up!) to continue following the trail.

This week, let’s blaze the trail for someone coming along on the path behind us – someone pursuing a similar career or hobby. We can help show them the way by reaching out a hand in friendship and having a conversation, offering wisdom, and opening a few doors to help them along the way.

We need each other and we aren’t meant to walk through this life alone. Let’s get out there this week and blaze a trail of positive steps for others.
