Today is a day to honor. To honor your friends who have lost a child.

Today is a day to remember. To remember the life you carried.

Today is a day to love. To love your family and friends who walk alongside you.

In October each year, during Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, I try to take time to do just that. To honor, remember, and love. Infertility and involuntary childlessness is not an easy path to walk. The journey has been made lighter by the friends and family who have walked before, with me, and behind me.

Today is the worldwide Wave of Light for Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness. I encourage you to light a candle at 7:00 pm for an hour this evening to remember all babies who have died too soon.

For encouragement and support, make sure to check out this week’s podcast: Traveling the Terrain.

Today I honor you.
