The year of pandemic 2020 proved rugged terrain, but with ideas, friends, acquaintances, family, and a variety of connecting points, God brought a wonderful, fun, helpful, healing thing to pass.

I can’t believe it’s time to celebrate one year since I took the defining step to launch The Bearing Life®️

What a fun, unexpected ride so far. If you’ve listened to the introduction episode you know I said “no” to even the idea of a podcast for a couple of years. Then God led me in that direction with a variety of voices and even provided the perfect location to record and launch.

Gratitude overflows and I want to honor a few specific people:

My nephew, @jeremyjwest94, who started the entire conversation…αnd kept asking

My friend, @vanessapeterson33, who continued the conversation and connected me with the perfect space to begin recording,

My treasured friends at @theslate2403 (@cali_massad, @jodieshastings, @shellyslaterstrategies), who encouraged and applauded me from the very beginning,

My podcast producer, @joe.passarelli, without whom the wonderful theme song and seamless editing wouldn’t exist (and my niece, @maggzpd, who connected me with Joe),

My illustrator, @ben.humeniuk, for his drawing of The Bearing Life®️ girl long before we knew where we needed to use her,

My webmaster, @rjonestexas, for his work on the podcast page and initial platform set up,

My creative director, @katherineihill, who faithfully preps podcast posts and stories,

My co-working space friend, @caytielangford, who shared the basics of podcasting.

A heartfelt thank you to all of my guests who joined me in studio and later via virtual platform to have conversations and share stories and experiences. You inspire me.

Many, many thanks to those of you who listened and subscribed. Your continued support and encouraging comments (private and public) help nourish my purpose and spur me onward. You have provided me much joy through it all.

I’m excited about the episodes we’re working on right now and look forward to sharing them with you in the Fall

Thank you.
